Rabbi Y. Smukler

Rabbi Smukler grew up in Toronto Canada, graduating from Ner Israel Yeshiva High School. He then did the Yeshiva circuit studying in England, America and Australia where he received his Semicha - Rabbinic Ordination. He completed a specialised course on Formal and Informal Jewish Education at Bar Ilan University in Israel, and a Dip Ed at Sydney University and UNE. He specialized in Web Mediated Learning and Multimedia in Education in his Post Graduate studies. Rabbi Smukler worked in Moriah Primary School for 6 years and he was then appointed Head of Jewish Studies and the Rabbi of Moriah College Middle School at the end of 2004. In 2010 Rabbi Smukler then was offered a position as Principal in Yeshivah College. Rabbi Smukler captivates his audience with his direct style and refreshing blend of intellect and emotion.
